Conditions for using the KanBeng index and sourcing workflows

Published data may be incomplete, outdated or inconsistent with a manufacturer’s current offer.

By using KanBeng you accept that the index is informational. A published model or factory record is not an offer to sell, not a certified performance curve and not a warranty. You still have to verify engineering and commercial details before you buy.

Index use
Informational. Verify before purchase.
RFQ use
A request for review, not a purchase order.
Supplier claims
Must be accurate and supportable.
01

Use of data

Do not rely on an index record as a certified curve, material certificate or statutory approval. Do not scrape, bulk-copy or resell records as verified certification. Do not present a KanBeng evidence label as your own audit.

  • Verify all engineering and commercial details before purchase.
  • Do not rely on an index record as a certified curve or warranty.
  • Do not scrape, misrepresent or resell records as verified certification.
02

Supplier and RFQ conduct

Submitted claims must be accurate and supported when requested. Spam, deceptive identities and unlawful requests may be removed. KanBeng may correct, suspend or unpublish records when evidence changes, and may refuse to route an RFQ that lacks a coherent duty description.

Questions buyers actually ask

Are index numbers a contract?

No. Only the documents exchanged with a supplier — quotation, curve, purchase order — create commercial terms.

Can KanBeng be liable for a bad pump?

The site provides informational indexing and inquiry routing. Suitability remains between buyer and supplier.

Can you remove my factory page?

Send a request with proof of authority. We may retain a note that a record was withdrawn if it had been public.
