Source pending
The profile exists so buyers can see that a plant is on our radar. Claims may come from a website, a catalog cover or a factory application that has not finished document review. Treat every quantitative claim — staff, plant area, export countries — as unverified until a dated document says otherwise.

Desk reviewed / verified
Desk reviewed means we compared selected claims with dated public records or submitted files: business identity, a coherent product scope, and at least one current document that supports the published summary. Verified is a higher bar: a defined evidence pack, internal notes on document scope, and a review date.
Both labels expire. A renamed company, a withdrawn certificate, a contradicted test-bay claim or a failed follow-up returns the record to review. Paid visibility never moves a label upward by itself.

What an evidence label never covers
It is not ISO certification of the product. It is not UL/FM, API, nuclear or hygienic approval. It is not financial due diligence, anti-bribery screening or a warranty. It is not a statement that the factory can meet your NPSH, noise, or coating specification.
Questions buyers actually ask
If a factory is verified, can I skip inspection?
No. Specify test standards, witness points and document packs in the order. KanBeng review is not third-party inspection.
Can a factory pay to be verified faster?
A complete file is reviewed faster than an incomplete one. Payment does not create a verified label without the stated evidence.
Why are most records still source pending?
Because we would rather under-claim. Public websites are a starting point, not an audit.
How do I challenge a label?
Send the record URL, the document, and the date on the Contact page. Corrections are triaged before publication.
