Zhejiang Emida Pump Co., Ltd.
Zhejiang Emida Pump Co., Ltd., legally 浙江亿迈达泵业有限公司, combines chemical pump directions with filtration assemblies from its Quzhou base. Its published range spans AMF permanent-magnet pumps, MD compact magnetic-drive variants, CS vertical tank pumps, YDD/YDP self-priming magnetic pumps and EX filter packages. The useful comparison is the complete process duty: liquid compatibility, circulation range, installation geometry, controls and clean or loaded filter resistance.

Match the installation and circulation task to a distinct product direction
Emida’s catalogue separates magnetic-drive pumps, vertical tank pumps, self-priming pumps and chemical filtration systems. Its company page identifies applications in PCB manufacture, continuous electroplating, semiconductor processing, surface treatment and liquid-flow energy storage. Select for the actual liquid and installation, rather than treating those industries as a blanket compatibility statement.
For an electrolyte circulation loop, compare the offered AMF permanent-magnet drive package and its control behaviour. For a small chemical circulation circuit, MD has separate standard, high-flow and high-head variants. CS puts a vertical pumping section into a tank arrangement; YDD/YDP adds a self-priming chamber. EX adds filter-media resistance and service access to the pump selection.
AMF permanent-magnet direction
Specify the working-point range, control interfaces and wetted construction for the circulation loop.
MD compact magnetic drive
Select R, RX or RZ hydraulics and the correct 50/60Hz data before comparing wattage.

YDD/YDP and EX
Resolve priming cases for self-priming equipment, or clean/loaded resistance for a filtration assembly.
AMF: the same 1.5kW rating does not give the same hydraulic duty
The AMF catalogue identifies a permanent-magnet, variable-frequency direction for electroplating, energy storage and photovoltaic applications. Its material code distinguishes GFRPP, CFRPP, PVDF and CFRETFE casing choices, and separately identifies shaft, bearing and O-ring materials. The fluid’s chemistry, concentration, temperature and contaminants determine the complete selection; the casing polymer alone is insufficient.
The specification table gives rated flow and rated head separately from maximum flow and maximum head. AMF-542 has a listed rated point of 200L/min at 22m with a 1.5kW motor output; AMF-542H trades flow for head at 100L/min and 26.5m with the same power. Neither model’s maximum-flow value is a promise at its maximum head.
For a flow-battery or process loop, submit minimum/normal/maximum circulation demand, fluid density and viscosity, pipe/component losses and the control sequence. Request the offered speed-dependent curve, input-power map and interfaces to the controller. Compare energy at the same liquid duty and operating hours. The catalogue’s efficiency-class and protection claims require the exact motor/controller test scope; they are not an independently measured saving for the buyer’s installation.
| Code / inlet–outlet | Rated flow / head | Motor output / separate maxima |
|---|---|---|
| AMF-542 / 50×40mm | 200L/min / 22m | 1.5kW; 450L/min max flow, 25.5m max head |
| AMF-542H / 50×40mm | 100L/min / 26.5m | 1.5kW; 250L/min max flow, 27.5m max head |
| AMF-665 / 65×65mm | 750L/min / 15m | 4kW; 1,230L/min max flow, 21m max head |

MD: distinguish R, RX and RZ before specifying an embedded circulation pump
MD is described as a small sealless magnetic-drive direction. The official code identifies R as standard, RX as high capacity and RZ as high head. The construction schedule separates front/rear casing and impeller polymers from carbon, PTFE or silicon-carbide bearings, ceramic or silicon-carbide shafts and EPDM or VITON O-rings. Request the whole wet-end bill of materials for the liquid, including cleaning fluids.
The MD table has explicit 50Hz/60Hz columns and lists the motor shaft-output value in watts. At 50Hz, MD-40R lists 45L/min maximum capacity and 4.6m maximum head; MD-40RX lists 75L/min and 3.3m; MD-40RZ lists 22L/min and 10m. These are distinct endpoints on different curves, not simultaneous working points. Their published motor output is 65W at 50Hz; input electrical consumption is a different quantity.
The published curves are for clear water at room temperature. Use the selected frequency and obtain the accepted duty for the process liquid. The table’s specific-gravity entries vary by code, so do not transfer one variant’s density limit to another. The MD temperature note is 0–80°C; material compatibility and the complete configuration still need confirmation.
The code also separates hose, threaded and union connections. Confirm hose outside diameter or thread designation, orientation and service space, rather than substituting a pump solely because its nominal wattage matches.
| MD variant | Maximum capacity / maximum head | Published motor shaft output |
|---|---|---|
| MD-40R standard | 45L/min / 4.6m | 65W |
| MD-40RX high capacity | 75L/min / 3.3m | 65W |
| MD-40RZ high head | 22L/min / 10m | 65W |

CS: resolve the vertical mounting envelope and low-level operating case
The CS catalogue describes vertical tank installation and also distinguishes N tank-internal from W tank-external installation codes. Its material choices include PP, GFRPP and PVDF, with separate EPDM/VITON O-ring codes, frequency, voltage and mounting-base shape. Define the required arrangement instead of assuming every CS photo represents the offered installation.
For CS-15-120, the table lists 15mm size and 1/6HP, with a 50Hz head endpoint of 3.8m and capacity endpoint of 70L/min; the 60Hz entries are 6m and 100L/min. These are not a simultaneous duty pair. The dimension schedule lists O as 220mm for this group and F as 407mm for CS-15-120; identify those drawing references on the supplied general arrangement before treating them as a tank clearance.
Send tank depth, minimum/maximum level, lid and mounting-plate geometry, discharge routing, immersion and any sludge or crystallisation. Obtain the selected suction/level limits, support details, access for withdrawal and startup/protection instructions. The original chart’s horizontal-axis label uses L/h while its specification capacity column uses L/min; use the explicit table units here and request a corrected curve for final selection.

YDD/YDP: include the priming chamber, retained liquid and abnormal operating cases
YDD/YDP is a sealless self-priming magnetic-drive direction. Its exploded construction identifies a self-priming barrel, filling cap with O-ring, check valve, impeller, bearing, thrust/interface rings and drive magnet. Those parts make priming and return-flow behaviour a separate selection issue from ordinary flooded circulation.
The code specifies GFRPP or PVDF casing, ceramic or silicon-carbide shaft, separate bearing/interface-ring/O-ring materials and flange arrangement. The published YDD/YDP-441 row gives 40A×40A ports, specific gravity 1.0, a rated point of 220L/min at 6m and 0.75kW motor output; separate maxima are 300L/min and 13m. The 442 row gives 300L/min at 10m and 1.5kW. Those rated points are useful comparisons; maximum endpoints must not be combined.
The feature sheet advertises long abnormal-operation tolerance, including empty running, cavitation and a closed outlet. It does not supply a universally permitted duration, liquid temperature or restart sequence. Specify tank-emptying, loss of suction and valve-closure cases, and obtain written commissioning, retained-fill, duration and protection requirements for the exact construction. An advertising sentence is insufficient to approve unattended dry running.
The motor code includes indoor/outdoor and an explosion-proof option. Any hazardous-location installation needs approval documents for the actual complete offered equipment and site classification; an optional code does not certify every YDD/YDP assembly.

EX: select media, bath duty and service access as a complete assembly
EX is a chemical-liquid filtration direction aimed at PCB, continuous electroplating and other surface-treatment wet processes. The filter code separates PP/CPVC/PVDF vessel material, seal material, flange or union connection, JIS/DIN/ANSI interface, clamp material and the associated magnetic-drive pump. Filter-media and liquid compatibility are independent requirements.
The small-system table lists EX-101 with one 10-inch cartridge and 15L/min filtration capacity, EX-102 with two 10-inch cartridges and 30L/min, EX-201 with one 20-inch cartridge and 30L/min, and EX-202 with two 20-inch cartridges and 60L/min. The listed EX-202 pump direction is EM/EMX and its motor entry is 150W/180W for 50/60Hz. These published capacities do not specify the buyer’s dirty-element pressure drop or retention efficiency.
The larger EX-M-218-2/3/5 table identifies EAX pumps, 2/3/5HP and listed filtration capacities of 700/800/1,050L/min. For a cartridge arrangement it lists eighteen 20-inch elements and 4.5m² filter area. Other media directions include stacked, paper, fabric and bag arrangements with different areas; do not assume all media share the same element count.
Specify bath volume, suspended material, required particle retention and the clean/end-of-service differential-pressure conditions. Agree whether the stated flow is for water or the actual solution, and require the vessel pressure/temperature envelope, vent/drain and safe element-change procedure. Leave room above the vessel to remove elements and around the pump for service.
The catalogue distinguishes standard flange/union interfaces from optional switches, foot/check valves, flow-viewing tubes and flexible hoses. Put each required valve, gauge, switch, hose and initial/spare element into the supply list. A pump/filter price without those boundaries cannot be compared fairly.

Turn the manufacturing evidence into an order-specific acceptance plan
Emida’s corporate history places its origin in 2006 and a change to the Zhejiang company name in 2013. The current site identifies its Quzhou manufacturing location at Hangbu, Kecheng. A 29 July 2025 report from the Quzhou tax authority independently describes motor assembly and magnetic-steel automation in this company’s workshop, with chemical pumps and filtration systems serving energy-storage and semiconductor uses. This supports the manufacturing identity and direction; it is not a factory audit or an assurance about every delivery.
An original CNIPA invention application, CN119435403A published on 14 February 2025, names 浙江亿迈达泵业有限公司 at 19 Fengshan Second Road. It describes a permanent-magnet direct-drive pump with a sealing structure. This is an application publication, not a grant, a product conformity certificate or proof that every advertised series uses that design.
For an AMF energy claim, agree the fluid, simultaneous flow/head, speed/control schedule and measured input-power basis against the comparison package. For a polymer magnetic pump, agree the material schedule, curve and leak/inspection scope. For an EX package, define flow with the selected filter medium and clean/loaded resistance. Request documents for the actual supplied unit, including any electrical or hazardous-area approvals needed by the site.
