Chemical dosing · flow/backpressure pairs · control and calibration
Zhejiang Ligao Pump Technology Co., Ltd.
A dosing requirement needs a quantity of chemical, a delivery pressure and a control method. Ligao’s catalogue spans compact solenoid pumps, motor-driven diaphragm pumps and digital plunger/hydraulic diaphragm configurations. The 2026 metering brochure gives model-specific flow-pressure pairs that differ from some older web summaries. Use the exact suffix, chemical conditions and controller interface to define the offered pump.

Define the dose before choosing a drive or display
The manufacturer describes display and automatic-control functions, but a displayed dose does not establish measured delivery in the installed chemical line. Agree a calibration procedure and the required verification at the actual backpressure and dosing range.
State the required chemical quantity
Give the concentration and density, the required delivery in L/h and the minimum/normal/maximum demand. For batch dosing, also provide batch volume, delivery time and the required start/stop sequence.
Describe the hydraulic connection
Give injection-point pressure, line losses, tank levels, suction route and fluid temperature/viscosity. Include changes in process pressure and any tendency to crystallise or release gas.
Define how the process commands the pump
Choose local adjustment, a mapped 4–20 mA signal, pulse-proportional demand or a batch/remote-control function. State feedback, permissive, alarm and communication requirements separately.
JLM-S: 20 L/h and 10 bar belong to different catalogue rows
The older JLM-S web page gives 1–20 L/h and a maximum pressure of 0.1 MPa. The 2026 brochure instead lists pressure by model, from 10 bar at 1 L/h down to 1 bar at 20 L/h. Select the complete model code and obtain its current datasheet; do not combine the highest flow and highest pressure or treat 0.1 MPa as the limit of every suffix.
The website describes LCD indications of operating mode, current flow and accumulated quantity, automatic start/stop for a fixed dose, local or external operation, and 4–20 mA or pulse input. The 2026 JLM-S brochure additionally lists Modbus RTU two-way communication. Confirm the supplied controller revision, installed ports, wiring and register map before relying on that function.
The webpage lists 110/220 V, single-phase 50/60 Hz options; the brochure’s JLM/JLM-S table shows 28 W and 220 V/50 Hz. Confirm the exact ordered power supply. It also shows hose/connection options by head material, while the webpage lists PTFE on the diaphragm’s wetted face and PVC, PVDF/PTFE, 304 or 316 heads. Check the full wetted assembly, valves, seals and hose compatibility with the actual concentration and temperature.
| Model suffix | Listed flow | Listed pressure |
|---|---|---|
| S0110 | 1 L/h | 10 bar (1.0 MPa) |
| S1003 | 10 L/h | 3 bar (0.3 MPa) |
| S2001 | 20 L/h | 1 bar (0.1 MPa) |

Motor-driven diaphragm pumps also need a flow-pressure pair
The GM website summary gives 10–500 L/h and up to 1.2 MPa. In the 2026 brochure, GM10/1.2 is 10 L/h at 1.2 MPa, whereas GM500/0.5 is 500 L/h at 0.5 MPa. These are different configurations; the maximum flow does not carry the maximum pressure. The same table lists a GM5/1.2 row below the older website’s stated minimum.
For larger dosing, the GB-S web summary gives 1,300–3,600 L/h and 0.5 MPa maximum. The 2026 brochure extends to GB-S4000/0.3 and lists GB-S1360/0.7: 4,000 L/h at 0.3 MPa and 1,360 L/h at 0.7 MPa respectively. Ask which catalogue revision and exact configuration the quotation covers rather than treating the older summary as a complete selection chart.
The mechanical-diaphragm description says flow can change as pressure changes, with changes of up to 10% mentioned across its pressure range. That is a reason to agree duty-specific calibration and acceptance, rather than assuming a drive setting provides the same chemical dose at every pressure. The page offers a digital controller and optional double-diaphragm/alarm configurations; specify those options if required.

Separate controller capability from hydraulic-end capability
The JMP/JMYP page describes modular digital control for plunger and hydraulic diaphragm pumps. It gives a family flow maximum of 45 m³/h, with separate pressure maxima of 50 MPa for plunger and 70 MPa for hydraulic diaphragm constructions. These broad maxima do not establish one pump operating at the highest flow and pressure together.
The page lists analogue input/output, pulse control, local/remote operation, flow calibration, pressure/level inputs, timed or fixed-dose batches and Modbus RTU. It also mentions stability/repeatability and a wide adjustment ratio. Obtain the offered hydraulic model, controller functions, operating limits and accuracy definitions over the required range. Do not transfer those claims to the compact JLM-S family.
Specify what happens on low chemical level, high/low process pressure, lost demand signal, communication failure and power restoration. Identify which sensors, actuators, alarm outputs and settings are included. A controller that accepts a pressure input is not evidence that a pressure transmitter is supplied or that delivered chemical flow is independently measured.
A dosing system includes more than the pump head
The brochure’s dosing schematic shows a tank, mixer, metering pump, safety valve, pulsation damper, backpressure valve, sampling/vent position and line components. Use it as a package-boundary checklist, with a supplier-approved arrangement for the actual liquid and injection point. It is not a universal piping design for every chemical service.
Agree suction filtration and gas-handling/priming needs, injection connection, relief routing, backpressure and pulsation control, containment and isolation/maintenance access. The JLM-S webpage mentions a foot filter valve, injection valve and hoses; confirm their quantities, sizes and materials in the offer rather than assuming all system accessories are included.
Commission and calibrate the actual installation
Agree the test liquid/chemical, pressure, dose settings, measurement method and recording of delivered volume over time. Verify control scaling and the start/stop or batch sequence.
Maintain the parts that set delivery
Request the supplied model’s valve, diaphragm and seal parts list and inspection instructions, plus cleaning/priming procedures for the chemical. Record recalibration and safe return-to-service requirements after maintenance.
Use standards participation to request clear acceptance documents
The national standards platform names 浙江力高泵业科技有限公司 among the drafting organisations for GB/T 7782-2020, Metering pump. At review, the platform lists that standard as current and its new revision plan as being consulted. Drafting participation is evidence of the named organisation’s standards activity, not certification of an individual pump or a completed revision.
A Zhejiang market-regulation publication dated 2 June 2023 reports review of the English translation of T/ZZB 0685-2018, mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump, at Ligao. For a mechanical-diaphragm order, request the applicable bilingual specification, agreed test method and acceptance documents. That dated translation review does not apply automatically to solenoid or hydraulic/plunger pumps.
The official company profile gives a 2003 establishment statement and describes metering pumps, rotary-lobe pumps and dosing assemblies in Linhai. It also contains historical staffing, facility and management-system claims, including old or inconsistently written standard references. Obtain current scope and validity documents where your procurement requires them; none is presented here as an independently witnessed factory inspection or current certification badge.
Send the chemical duty and the control logic together
Reviewed on 8 October 2026 from Ligao’s official company and product pages and its 2026 metering brochure, together with national standards information and the dated Zhejiang English-standard report. Catalogue revisions and controller options require confirmation for the supplied unit. Only the existing JLM-S product address is linked; the broader comparisons do not create new model listings.
