Factories bid what they can see. If they cannot see the liquid, the duty and the documents, they will invent them and you will compare invented machines. KanBeng’s RFQ form exists to stop that. This note is the longer version of the fields on that form.
One family, one duty
Do not ask for a submersible sewage pump, a multistage booster and a magnetic-drive chemical pump in a single undifferentiated request. Split them. Each family has different tests, motors and failure modes. A “package price” for unrelated machines is how wrong seals get onto right pumps.
Liquid data that changes the offer
Name the liquid, concentration, temperature, solids size and percentage, fibres, chlorides, and whether the pump can be expected to run dry. “Dirty water” is not data. If the liquid is hazardous, say so and name the area classification you need for the motor and accessories.
Duty and installation
Flow, total head, suction condition, operating hours, starts per hour, and whether the unit is submersible, dry, inline or self-priming. If you already have pipework, say so. If the unit replaces an installed pump, attach the outline and the old curve if you have them.
Documents and tests
Curve with duty marked, material schedule, hydrostatic and performance records, coating, nameplate language, spare-parts list, and the Incoterm plus destination port. If you need inspection, name who attends and at which hold points. “Quality must be good” is not a hold point.
What KanBeng will send back to you
If the form is missing a coherent duty or a real contact, the desk will not introduce suppliers. That is deliberate. Incomplete RFQs become spam for factories and noise for you. Use the public form, not a screenshot of a chat.
