PUMP SERIES

KYKY Technology Co., Ltd. RV

KYKY RV pumps are two-stage, direct-drive rotary vane vacuum pumps. The manufacturer presents seven models with pumping speeds from 2 to 24 L/s, for standalone evacuation or as backing pumps in a larger vacuum system.

Product details

The RV design uses a pressure-fed oil circulation system and an oil-pump boosting arrangement. KYKY also describes a fast-closing anti-return valve intended to reduce oil migration toward the vacuum line when the pump stops. These features concern vacuum-system operation and should not be interpreted as specifications for pumping process liquids.

The product announcement identifies uses in materials preparation, surface engineering, energy technology, analytical instruments, biomedical equipment and electronics. It lists diffusion pumps, Roots pumps and turbomolecular pumps as possible higher-vacuum stages supported by an RV backing pump. The appropriate combination depends on the gas load, working pressure and conductance of the connecting line.

The 2–24 L/s range covers multiple RV sizes. The illustration is the RV2 catalog photograph and is not a dimensional drawing for every model. Ultimate pressure, motor supply, oil specification and acceptable gas or vapour loads should be established from the selected model’s current technical sheet; they are not inferred from the family pumping-speed range.

SELECTION NOTES

Specify the operating duty

Specify required pumping speed at operating pressure, evacuated volume, gas composition and vapour load. For a backing application, identify the high-vacuum pump and foreline requirements as well as power supply and exhaust treatment.

Published limits may describe different configurations within a series. Confirm that the required operating conditions are valid together.
